Jan D. Arnold

Jan was born and raised in South Los Angeles.  She attended
Pepperdine University, Malibu and after spending two semesters on
the beach, she decided to get serious and
attend the University of Southern California School of Electrical
Engineering.  She then discovered that she really was a filmmaker at
heart.  She produced and directed projects for a wide spectrum of
clients ranging from House of Blues Sunset Strip to the County of
Los Angeles.   She is the recipient of a Producers Guild Diversity
Workshop Fellowship and the recipient of a Guy Hanks-Marvin Miller
Screenwriting Fellowship at USC.  She is also the recipient of a Los
Angeles County Board of Supervisors Scroll for Recognition for
Outstanding Service to Foster Youth, while serving as a member of
the Board of Directors for Youth Opportunities United, a nonprofit
organization that provides arts and education programs for “at risk”
foster youth.
